Big Ass Steps

Really happy to finally have found a lightweight but sturdy step for my Lab. I had another brand that worked well but I could barely open and close it because it was 30 pounds, and trying to do that while having my dog on a leash in my hand was impossible, plus it took up way too much space in the car. I'm very pleased with these steps.

So far so good, we purchased as jumping into the truck is sometimes difficult for my girl. She is a fraidy cat and I knew we would have to work with her in order to use. It's been trial and error on where exactly to place the stability bars but I think we finally got it and she is doing well, Literally takes seconds to open and fold back up. those caps do pop off so I see why you sent extras. It would be really great on the truckbed or bigger opening as my husbands Silverado (the back door) is kinda curved so we have had to figure that out. It is super sturdy and she isn't afraid anymore. She is about 63 lbs

These steps are surprisingly sturdy for how lightweight they are. I do always stand on the crossbar under the last step to stabilize the stairs when the dog is using them and guide him so he doesn’t slip off. They are narrow, but if they weren’t they wouldn’t fit in the open door. Great product if used with care!
