Glad I finally upgraded to the bomber

I've been seeing the Saker harnesses for a while but hesitated about buying partly because of the price (I have two doggies so it was 2 harnesses not one). I'm so glad I decided finally to get it. The construction feels solid, the clasps do not give away and its sooo pretty. But more important for me, the design allows for the dog not to have to lift a paw to get in (one of my dogs has arthritis and it felt an unnecessary step that put strain on her to get her old harness on). The fact that you can adjust pretty much every part also means that it actually fits snuggly and don't move around when they run and jump and etc. I love the strap on the back from which I can help them if we are on a scramble or if the old girl is feeling tired and needs a boost. I will say if your dog likes to move a bit more in the backseat, setting them up with the seatbelt isn't as comfortable so for her I am just still using the 3-point tether I have and attaching the loop on the harness to it. The seatbelt clasp/stopper just kept opening and then it became uncomfortable for her. My other dog who just sits as soon as she is in the car and stays there the seatbelt stopper and passing the seatbelt through the harness works perfectly.

I really like this harness, easy to pick up my retriever by the handle, doesnt restrict her movement, nice colours. The only thing i would nit pick is the loops that the pouches hook into are directly over the buckles, so any weight in her bags are pushing the buckles into her. There is padding under the buckles, and you should never have much weight in there but would be nice to have them offset.

Amazing harness that does it all. We bought this for a road trip so Olive would be safer while we drive, but I love that goes easily from car to trail to park and you can do anything with it. Also had a great customer service experience. The first size we ordered wasn't quite fitting right, so I sent in her measurements, and someone immediately responded and helped us exchange for the extra small, which fits perfectly.
