Tron Legacy Saber

This saber is beautiful and truly unique. There are a few things to be aware of: 1) the core is custom shaped to accommodate the triangular shape of the hilt; 2) the blade is 7/8”, not 1” (I was a bit disappointed in the blade as I had been planning to swap it with my other sabers, and/or purchase an “ultra blade” with double or triple the led count.); 3) there is no clear mounting point for a D-ring or covertech wheel; and, 4) the hilt does not unscrew or have an external charging port. You must unscrew a set screw to remove the “pommel”, in order to charge or change the battery, which is a bit of a nuisance. There were also no clear directions on how to access the core and sd card for this particular saber, and no visual charging indicator.

Very cool and sleek design, but I kind of wish the core was a bit more practical in its design, particularly in regards to the location of the type-c charging port, but that's a nitpick more than anything. The blade for this model is one of the narrow ones (7/8 inch), and it's super long if you go for the 36" on accident like I did. Still, it's a lightweight hilt and blade combo, making it easier to spin a bit and swing around with one hand. I like the strip of LEDs on either side of the hilt and the uniquely positioned control button. It doesn’t light up, but you can turn on the countdown thing in the app and be fine. The speaker isn't very bassy, but the "sharp" kind of sound it has matches the look of the hilt imo. Nothing seems poorly made like the Katana saber I got (it doesn't wobble like that one did), so it's pretty great.

Most off shape lightsaber hilts just dont fit great in the hand, Tron saber is what tgey all should strive to be like. Great maneuverability and balance
