The lightest "rubber" boots you will find

This is my second pair of Nat's 1540s. They replaced my nearly eight-year-old ones that had seen more than their share of abuse from rocks, nails, and other damaging stuff around the farm. I was very happy to see that the new ones were identical in look and quality, and still made in Poland rather than in the Far East as are many other brands these days, even those of the "Canadian" makers. The synthetic rubber, the EVA, that the 1540 boots are made of, seems to be foamed between the inner and outer skins. This gives them an insulating quality which made them wearable in -20° for me with just a pair of thick socks.

So comfortable! Awesome boots!

Fit slightly large in my opinion. Excellent boots, but i wish the tread was more aggressive.
