Lip balm works just as well as the bar. I like that the lip balm is bigger than your average chapstick. It's similar to the size of a glue stick. The application makes it easy to apply on not just my lips but I like to also use it on my hands and elbows. The downside is that the lip balm doesn't have a twist to move the product up. You have to push the bottom up, which may be difficult if you have long nails, and if you push out too much then you have to press down on the product to lower it. The packaging is made of thick cardboard but oil still seeps through & has stained some of my clothes so I don't carry it in my pockets.

I am a lip balm snob. I am very particular about scent and the consistency of the products I use. First, I love the oversized tube. Sometimes in a pinch I will use chapstick on my dry cuticles and I suspect this will be perfect and meet that need. Second, it feels very hydrating. I am excited to use this lip balm this winter to prevent/treat chapped lips.
