this dress is everything. the color is beautiful -- i got the deep green. the fabric is sturdy and relatively thick, but SUPER soft and airy as well. it can easily be layered for fall and winter, but on its own is perfectly fine for hot & humid summers (i'm from the middle atlantic east coast area -- it's hot here!). it's so well made, with hidden snap closures between the top few buttons, which would significantly improve modesty and aesthetics particularly for women with bigger busts. with those snaps, there's no pulling and gapping between buttons. it's pretty long even as a midi. i'm 5'9" with long legs and it still hits in my mid-lower shin. in my regular size (S) it will still be an effortless fit for the depths of pregnancy. i love it, i'll be wearing this forever.
