Improved consistency

I have been using this sunscreen successfully for at least a year. It works well for me and is the only cream based formula I’ve found that hasn’t caused breakouts. That said, I had struggled with the texture a lot. It would come out of the tube grainy, and fall off my fingers before I could get it spread on my skin. With my most recent order around Black Friday 2024 however, I was pleasantly surprised that the texture came 100% creamy. So much better, although it was already a five star for me because of performance.

Usually love it, not this time

This time both tubes I ordered have very dry cream. I’m having to premix with extra moisturizer to make it work. I hope this is temporary and my next order is back to normal and very creamy to apply.

Under make up sunscreen

I use Elta MD tinted moisturizer as a foundation and not just as a moisturizer. It is chalky if I put foundation over it- so 4 and not 5 stats for that reason. It was a rec from my dermatologist and she says my skin looks good. I just cannot reapply it b/c I have cored blush I wear over it. I don’t have time in my day to wash and redo my makeup every 2 hours. Over time, unused product does get chalky, so I have to repurchase it withon the year. But, I love Harben House’s prices!
