My Other Ride Was a Fast Attack

My other Navy kid was a Nuke on a fast attack sub. Although he is retired from the Navy (14 years), he will love this shirt.

Totally sat! My husband was a USN submariner for 22 years and spent five years on the USS Boise, SSN-764. From 1993-1994, he did a 6-month Mediterranean run, spent Boxing Day at a British commander's home on Gibraltar. He did electronic surveillance in the Persian Gulf after going through the Suez Canal. With his long and storied career, it's hard to get a full-blown grin out of him, but when he unwrapped this t-shirt, he actually smirked! 10/10 would buy again.

He was on a nuke sub during Nam and still talks about it at least 3-4 times a month. Proud to be in the Navy and honored/proud to be "driving" a nuke on it's trials and afterwards. Joined the reserves when he was a senior in high school. Subs were his LAST choice on the list of 5 but he wouldn't change it for the world now! Nice to show his pride in this shirt, one of the, what?, 2% of sailors that were on a sub. He loves this shirt, it was his favorite Christmas gift.
