Hello! I'm about 5'4" or 5'5" and I usually sit around 165lbs. I bought size Large for this Tudor stay and the matching overskirt. The stay was perfect. There is still room to let out the back or sides so fluctuating in weight won't be a problem. The matching skirt I got a large, and it's too big, but I'm making it work. So if you're around my size, I'd recommend actually getting the medium skirt. I'm also sporting the french meadows leather belt, belt pouch, skirt hikes, and mug holder. The mug holder loop was a little small for my drink horn, it actually ended up popping off a few times, so I switched to my wooden mug which has a smaller handle and it was good after that! My shoes are American Duchess, from their rennaissance line. My hat is a cheap felt floppy hat that I upcycled. Side note - I've been following French Meadows since it started and as a college student at the time it was hard to justify spending so much money on something like this at the time. But now I'm older, doing better financially, and was SO EXCITED to finally buy an outfit <3 and I LOVE IT. Thank you to the French Meadows team! I wore this for my friend's pirate/fantasy/dnd party and I can't wait to sport it at ren faire!
