Hello Gawjus! This is THE COAT I've Been Waiting For!
I searched for this coat for a long time (at a price within my budget), and finally, this one ended my trench coat odyssey. It's made of a high-quality cotton twill (THE best fabric for trench coats, IMO). It is water and wind resistant, midi length (on me), in a delicious deep shade of navy blue (my favorite color to wear), and it is a simple design as trench coats go without military trench coat details like epaulettes, gun flaps, metal hooks at the neck, and a back flap. Because of this, it feels modern, streamlined, and clean, just the way I wanted it to. The quality of the work is impeccable, and the cut is extremely flattering, belted or not. I love that there is room for me to layer a blazer or sweater underneath for added warmth but that the coat looks absolutely perfect without them. I highly recommend this beautiful coat with one caveat. The arms are ample in width (good for layering). However, they are longer than most coats I have encountered. I have very long arms, and the cuff on this one hits me beyond my wrist, fully into the about the first third of my hand. It seems likely to me that someone with a shorter arm than mine won't be able to make the sleeves work without a trip to the tailor. Also, I'm five-foot-six and the length is perfect on me as midi. A more petite person may find that it hits them below that, perhaps even closer to the ankles. Again, a tailor can adjust it. I'd say get the coat, try it on, and see how it fits you. It will be worth it even if you need some light alterations in the length to make it exactly the way you want it to be. I can't speak to the other colors Orolay offers, but the deep navy is a head turner that I will wager would look good on everyone. There is nothing, NOTHING as elegant and chic (and practical) as a long classic trench coat in a gorgeous color like this one. And at this price? I'm so glad I found it. PS: I got mine in a large. A medium would have fit but I prefer a more voluminous coat and the option to layer.
