Perfect for our passage on a sailboat from Maine to Nova Scotia. I would recommend going up a size or two. I like to wear thin liners and fit an XL, I am 5’9”. My husband 6’2 fits the XXL.Our hands are proportional to our heights.

Perfect for long winter rafting trips! Where other types of gloves failed to keep me warm and dry on the raft through splashing rapids and windy cloudbursts, these gloves (when tucked into the velcro cuffs of my drysuit) were bombproof! I don't know how they have achieved breathability and waterproofness to this degree, but I bought pairs for every member of my rafting group as a thank you gift after our return. For this purpose, they really were THAT good.

Fantastic for backcountry skiers for climbing steep routes or performing snow study when hands must be in the snow and most gloves eventiually soak through. Works for me most days when temps are down to 15 to 20 deg F. I wear a thin glove underneath. If you are sick of wet goves, buy these, keep you ski gloves dry. These pack away easily. Worth every penny of the very reasonble price.
