A Beautifully emotional Must Listen to audiobook.
This audiobook brings a new level of "heartbreakingly beautiful" to life with these amazing narrators. As a fan of this trilogy, I knew listening to this book would be emotional. These narrators did a phenomenal job bringing it to life. I also loved the extra content, by listening to it on this platform. The Teddy Hamilton interview was awesome. The insight behind bringing this trilogy to life was amazing. Highly recommend.

A Spoil of Riches
Vice President Embry Moore: Charming, entitled, hurtful. Sad, selfless, longing. He’s always sacrificed to keep safe those he loves… Even though it means hurting them. This time, the effects will be felt for a lifetime.
Review
I adored this book! Sierra Simone is a writer that makes you ask yourself, “How do people’s brains work like this!?” Her use of metaphor is so lovely and helps the material land with the reader in such a warm and intimate way. It is such an exquisite experience to read her work.
Plot-wise, American Prince delves into Ash and Embry’s backstory, particularly as active-duty soldiers. Upon this re-read, I felt like I was able to better grasp Embry’s struggle between loving fiercely and putting up barriers for himself and others. Versus Ash who just seems to loves fiercely.
The intimate scenes are delectable! They are long, descriptive, and serve a purpose in moving the plot. The spice is non-repetitive, hot, and oh-so-satisfying.
It was fun to see how this book fleshed out the events from American Queen. I was so completely wrapped up in it that despite having read it before, when the end hit, I was so surprised (and sad)! I had no idea I was close to the end and just wanted it to keep going!
Narration
Teddy Hamilton is a favorite but it felt like a spoil of riches to have him in a dramatic role as the lead character with SO much air time. This *may* be my all-time favorite of his performances. When it was announced that Teddy would be Embry, my first thought was, “Of course! He IS Embry!” And he WAS! His kind and playful voice just lends itself so well to this character.
All other narrators were excellent as well. Rex Rhys stood out as we explored hurt, fear, and jealousy within Ash. Rex’s rich bass brought these to life beautifully. Sophie Eastlake had some trigger-worthy content and emotions to portray and she is such a pro. Her lulling voice brings you into each scene and even brought me to tears in American Prince. Lastly, Valerie Azlynn is another casting choice where she simply IS her character! Her dangerously entitled Abilene is so perfect it makes you truly love to hate her character!
Bravo to all involved!
