Too Thin

The design and color are great. Unfortunately, this particular manufacturer produced a decidedly thin rug. . . . almost skimpy. Despite the design and color, we would not purchase rugs from this company again. The rug actually wrinkles like a cotton bath mat. We expected a similar quantity of wool, like a smaller wool rug purchased at Annie Selke years ago. It was/is a substantial rug that we love. Unfortunately, we have hardwood floors that cannot have a latex-backed pad due to inevitable off-gases eventually produced that adhere to the floors. Disappointed in the quality of this rug.

I really like this rug and it has changed the look of my living room considerably. The “view the rug in your room” feature is so helpful! I wish more places would have that feature. The rug seems very well made. It’s soft and the thick rug pad makes it more so. I was a bit worried that my cat’s claws would pull at it but so far so good. It may be a problem with other cats. I have five rugs now from Annie Selke. They have all worn very well and I love seeing the more unusual patterns. I purchased a small Paint Chips in the multi color. What a great pattern and I think it would look great anywhere! I love the photo of it used on a staircase!
