Engineer-it Kit™: Get started with Genetic Engineering for bacteria (bacterial transformation kit)

Great Kit!

I purchased the Engineer-it kit in blue and magenta. The magenta transformation worked beautifully, but the blue did not transform. This definitely could have been due to student error during the procedure. The first person video was very helpful and the simulation helped the students prepare for the lab. The only thing that I would have liked is if the positive cells matched the color of the bacteria the students produced in their transformation. I'll definitely use this again next year.

Great experiment, great customer service

This kit is amazing! It worked super well, the protocole is easy to follow. We want to implement this activity in our school. Bonus: the customer service is absolutely excellent. They answer all of your questions and provide great informations! I’m really excited to see my students try it
