Dominican Habit for 18" Doll
The overall experience was very good. I hadn't sewn something like this in quite awhile, so I was a bit "rusty" interpreting some of the pattern instructions, but I was ultimately able to accomplish my goal. Since my daughter is a Nashville Dominican Sister, and she wears both the collar and the guimpe, I attached both when I made the doll habit. (The doll habit was part of a First Communion gift for my granddaughter.) It came out well, and I would be happy to submit a picture.

Found it easy to use as a novice
I don't sew all that much, and this is my first project for dolls. Made one mistake and had to rip back because the collar was a bit unclear to me, but when I actually looked at the pictures it was very obvious (the step-by-step pictures are amazing). I have not made the guimpe or scapular, but what I have done was straightforward, easy to do, and turned out amazing.

A Nun's Habit
The pattern was relatively easy to follow. I had some confusion about the attachable collar. My biggest challenge was the black fabric I chose to use. Also it should be stated that the sleeve cuffs will be showing the wrong side of the fabric which would not look good if your fabric wasn't the same on both sides. Overall the pattern was very nice.
