Enjoyable Build, But NOT For Beginners
I usually build UC Master Grades, specifically Mono-Eyes, Mass Production Types, and the weird/interesting ones. So, this was a bit of a departure for me. In a nutshell, the Amatsu Mina should have been an MG not an RG. The MG Astrays are pretty solid as is the case with most Seed MGs. All in all, I enjoyed the build and it's a nice addition to my collection, but perfect this is not. If you don't have at least a dozen builds under your belt, this is not for you.
Of note, this is the only RG to date I have built that have posable hands. Imagine that. Overall, the form is good, articulation is good, and color accuracy is good with good parts separation overall.
HOWEVER:
1. The plastic marks really, really, really easily. Consider using a Raser and/or painting
2. The gloss black marks easily, but a quick tip is to use panel liner on the nub marks
3. The gold needs painting
4. Expect seam lines, unless you put in extra effort to sand and hand fit (this is RG and not the RG Hi-Nu or Sazabi!!!)
5. Keep your area well clear, use a tray for assembled parts since with some parts (especially the head ... OH MY GOD) otherwise prepare to either inhale parts or just give up on ever finding them again
6. For the best quality build, sand, fit, dissemble, paint, and then use some glue, especially on the wing parts
