Ripstop Cargo Work Pants e.s.e:pic

As advertised, pockets are very nice. Even substituting the knee guards out for a pocket is nice.

I love the ripstop and the hammer loop on these. The hammer loop is considerably smaller than on other Engelbert Strauss pants and that is a great thing! The other pants I have from them have hammer loops that would only be useful for a sledge hammer. These seem more like a loose fit than a relaxed fit. That being said they are quite comfortable, durable and have a fairly good pocket layout. I wish the phone pocket was vertical, not horizontal. It feels like the phone is getting stressed and bent around your leg too much when the fabric gets pulled around your leg when you do movements like squatting or lifting your leg high to step up onto something. The tape measure clip slot needs to be a little wider, as it does not accommodate any but the narrowest clips. Finally where is the pen/pencil pocket? Overall these are really good work pants.
