I like the secure fit of sleeves to wrist. Wondering how long the elastic thumb strap will hold up. Failing elastic is where other jackets fail. So far so good.

This jacket is loaded with details that actually matter once you’re in the hive. The cuffs lock securely onto the gloves, so there’s no gap for a determined bee to find — one less thing to think about mid-inspection. The chest pockets are a smart touch too; being able to slide ice packs in there on a hot Alabama day makes a real difference for staying comfortable through a long yard check. The magnetic pockets for the hive tool are a standout — keeping it exactly where I need it instead of setting it down and losing track of it. On top of all that, the breathability holds up even in brutal summer heat. Between the fit, the storage, and the ventilation, this is easily the best beekeeping jacket I’ve used.
