Booker T Washington - Great American History

I was excited when I saw this graphic novel available and immediately bought it for my kids and my nephews. I read it myself and was pleased to learn some things I didn't know like what the T stood for and how he faced life long criticism for "appearing" not the help someone in great need, but had secretly helped him and didn't reveal it in order to protect the person and his family from physical attack. He exemplified great character. Grateful to have this to share with young people.
