I love the size of this pan and I love that it can be used on all types of cooktops. It looks beautiful and is made of quality steel. On a practical level, it is very heavy and I feel that the handle is very badly designed for home use (I say this because perhaps chef's have different techniques for holding their pans). Rather than the handle being rounded it is shaped like a stalk of celery with a deep groove on the upper side. This grooved design coupled with the heavy weight of the pan makes it uncomfortable at best when you grasp the handle, I find it hurts to hold it with one hand. My husband also found it hurts to hold the pan. If I had gone into a bricks-and-mortar store and held this pan before purchasing it I don't think I would have bought it.
