Great quality, well built. Liked the stainless mounting brackets included. Installed on a 32 foot Worldcat. 5w is very bright, very helpful navigating narrow canal.

I have a fab business, so naturally I did a few modifications to mount this light better than factory recommendations. Light was super bright and we use it to navigate on early morning or late evening fishing excursions.

Our family lives on the coast of South Carolina. My son & I decided to upgrade to a larger boat so we could run to the offshore fishing grounds and enter a few of the offshore fishing tournaments. We decided upon a used Key West 244 Center Console w/ T-Top. In the process of adding upgrades we decided to check into possibly adding a light bar. We did some research & read different reviews. We kept coming back to Black Oak, especially being a family owned small business. I have not purchased/used any LED light bars previously so when I looked at the specs I could not decide as to the size, wattage, amp draw, & type of beam (spot or combo) for my needs. This was on a weekend when Black Oak had a 20% sale. I noticed on the website it said to call with any questions as to application. I decided to call first thing Monday morning and Randy answered the phone. What a different experience!!! Randy truly was interested in our boat, our upgrades, and most importantly clearly understood our questions, needs, & application for a light bar to run offshore several hours before daylight and at night coming back into the marina. So many companies today when you call you get "so called experts" who seem to only be able to answer what is already on the website - NOT BLACK OAK & NOT RANDY!!! We covered everything, answered all my questions, and gave me the confidence/trust in Black Oak products & the family owned business itself. This is very important to me. If you think about it: When you are 50-70 miles offshore, do you want to trust your life & your family's life to cheap gear - ABSOLUTELY NOT! This is why my son and I chose Black Oak - quality product, great customer service, and a family business vested in it's customers!!! We ultimately purchased a Curved 30" White Marine LED Pro Series 3.0 Double Row 300 watt w/5 Watt Osram. The boat shop has installed the light bar and it looks AWESOME!!! The boat upgrades are almost complete. Once done, my son & I will be out on the water!!!! Daytime & now nighttime also!!!
