Absolutely Love This Unique Bodice!

I saw the Tavern Bodice online a year ago after visiting the renaissance faire and browsing for something more special for next time. I never forgot it and finally made my purchase last week. Shipping was fast and convenient, thoughtful packaging, and most importantly the item is beautifully made and extremely flattering! The style is unique compared to so many other bodices, with its padded cap sleeves and contrast trim. It reminds me of technicolor or animated fairy tale movies of the mid-century and I love that! I'm a little bummed I missed the big Labor Day sale by mere days, but it's still worth every penny and I'm glad to support an independent business. I can't wait to wear it to the faire this fall! Btw I was influenced on sizing by another review that said theirs ran very large, but I did not experience that and mine was almost on the small side. Knowing what I know now I'd say pick your usual size and the lacing will probably get you where you want to be.

I absolutely love this bodice! I probably could've sized down due to how adjustable it is (there's a bit of a gap in the back where it meets my neck) but that being said it still fits very well! I have flared ribs so wearing structured tops can be a bit of a gamble for me, but it accomodates that challenge very nicely. It's comfortable, well-made, and just gorgeous! I'd happily buy ten of them lol.
