This Leo- foto foot is perfect allowing me to grip the lens and carry safely. The included Sony foot was too short and too close to the lens barrel to be held safely.

Solid, Expertly-Crafted Lens Foot

After getting the newly released Sony 400-800 lens, I was waiting for someone to come out with a replacement foot, since Sony inexplicably still refuses to make their factory lens feet Arca-Swiss compatible. So I was pleased to see Leofoto release their replacement foot in a timely fashion, and was super pleased with its quality and ease of installation, which took about 60 seconds using the existing screws that attached the factory foot. (The Leophoto does come with four screws, but I did not need them.) The foot is lightweight, solid, and classy looking, made of black-anodized aluminum. Thanks, Leofoto!
