Ice and snow never felt so good.
For someone who dreams of spending Christmas in a log cabin, in front of a fire with a large mug of hot chocolate in hand and surrounded by a community of caring people and lots of snow, this story was destined to be a winner for me from the outset, and it fulfilled my expectations in every way. Alex and Zoe are beautiful characters trying to create a better way of living in a post Covid world. I love the idea of creating an apartment block or village where the focus is on sustainability and community rather than today’s view of squeezing as much housing into one area as possible for as little cost as possible, whilst selling them for as much as possible!
The way the developing relationship between the two MC’s is written is really lovely and when they are in Sweden their moments together are both sweet and hot❤️🔥. The village community is beautifully described and I kind of want to move to Vintergron now!
I would love to know how they continue to develop as a couple and whether or not those corporate bullies get their comeuppance, so Ruby, please write more!

Slow burn at it's finest
With thoughtfully written characters, heart-warming build up, and perfectly spiced payoff, this was slow burn at it's finest.
