Good balance between lightweight and performance

I'm on my 3rd battery since I first went with the small battery kit, beginning in 2010. The last one lasted 4 years and I expect the new one I just received to last that long, too. The key is to take care of it by maintaining it. Whenever the car sits in my garage for anything longer than a day or three, I put it on a battery tender, especially when the car sits during the winter months. Took the OEM insulated battery jacket, put some heat reflection tape on it, and adapted it to fit the small battery to protect it from heat as well.
