Ive been searching for arm style mounts and this one is only one out there that works as it should. And so minimal

Base and pivot

Both pieces were easy to install and fit perfectly

Almost Perfect

I just bought the base as I already had lots of gear compatible with 1” ball mounts. Unfortunately, the ball on the mount is not 1” and was also not compatible with any size adapters i had on hand. The good thing though, is that there is a second 1/4”-20 threaded hole on the top of the mount that i was able to add a 1” ball to. Now, that meant i needed to remove their ball. And while I understand why it would be hard to remove, it was still a pain. But i did get it off. The actual install was very easy and it holds like a champ. Plus, I don’t have to worry about any sticky residue if i need to remove it.
