Filter Head Manifold - Excellent service for a subpar part

Virginia Service Supply did a great job of expediting the delivery of the parts for my Frigidaire refrigerator. The refrigerator was fairly new, as it is in a new construction house built in 2023. The failure of the original part prevented me from changing the water filter; I had to force the filter out (which probably made it worse), and the new filter would not seat in the original manifold. From a few internet searches, this part is poorly manufactured and tends to fail more often than not. I was able to replace the faulty part for my refrigerator within 15 minutes. I ordered 3 manifolds, due to the fact that the part is not sturdy. I've had similar issue with the same manifold on a different refrigerator at a different residence. I'm glad that the vendor had plenty in stock as I'm sure the part will fail again. A subpar part is not a reflection on Virginia Service Supply; they're service was superb and timely.
