A Very Bright Idea
I am slightly amazed that the option exists for me to buy this kit of bulbs! I mean how many nutters are there out there who want to upgrade their Triumph 'fruit pie' clusters in this way? By the time one has discounted the 'keep it standard' brigade it can't be many. Personally, I am very glad it does exist as it's the second set I have bought as an 'old school' hotrodder. Nowadays higher end rods utilise all sorts of digital dashboard shenanigans but back in 70s/80s the Triumph warning light cluster was a favourite fit for the very good reason that it's neat and effective. It still is, and the fact that I can buy one on ebay for a few quid and rejuvenate it with an led bulb kit is something to be celebrated. So thank you. I sometimes have to mess about with polarities to suit a modified setup but that is not an issue for you. One small thing that you may wish to point out on the webpage though... Most alternators use the charge light connection as the source of bootstrap current, and with an led (because it's a diode) this either doesn't work or makes the alternator very lazy. I suspect you've had this feedback before, but if not it's worth pointing out that in some cases the charge light may need to remain as a filament bulb.
