Ascender Standard

Before writing this review, I wanted to wait a few weeks so I could put the guitar properly to the test. Let me start with the conclusion: I’m completely in love with this guitar, and it has exceeded my expectations. The engineering and the joints are flawless, without the slightest play. When I showed it to my guitar teacher, he was blown away by the quality. I still find it hard to believe that I can fold it, take it travelling, and have it stay practically in tune when I straighten it back out. The materials and components are high quality throughout. In the interest of an honest review, I’ll just mention that it isn’t especially light. I wasn’t expecting it to be, but you do feel the weight, even when carrying it on your back in a backpack. Among the things that could be improved, I’d point to the finish on the back, where the wood is routed out to make room for the folding mechanism. I’d also add that Ciari’s customer service responds quickly.

I’m very happy with guitar and backpack. I’m adjusting to the neck as I’m used to a much thinner profile but I knew that before ordering. It sounds and plays great

I contacted Ciari about an upcoming trip to see if they could get my guitar shipped a little early. They immediately responded and got it out in time for my trip. Amazing customer service. Love the guitar! Can't say enough good things about Ciaria.
