The Merino Wool Cargo Bib Shorts - Black

Last year I set out on the first part of the Norwegian segment of the EuroVelo1 route. I was completely clad in Merino clothing apart from my shorts since I had yet to come across a pair of Merino bibs (I was using a Merino liner under mt. bike shorts) - NOT THE SAME! Just ten days before setting out on the second segment of the route this May, another 1,000 km. ride in very inclement weather, I received an email form your company. Curious to see what you had to offer, I saw with excitement that you had exactly what I was looking for! The bib arrive five days before my departure, just enough time to take them for a test ride which was very reassuring, but not the same as if I had had months if not years of experience with them. But I figured it was worth taking the chance... Having safely returned from my voyage just last week, I have nothing but superlatives to express my experience with your bib. I wore them for ten days straight in heavy rains and cold temps. (4-12 C). Apart from being incredibly comfortable, never bunching or chafing, they always kept me at a warm and comfortable temperature. Most impressive however was what I considered to be some "marketing hype" on your site - the bit about your special weave creating a fabric that dries exceptionally fast - I can honestly say that that is not "hype" but the honest and remarkable truth. And the way I know that for sure is that I could compare it to my other kit that I was wearing. While my Merino shirt and socks were still heavily sodden with rain water, well after it had stopped raining, I noticed that my bumm was already comfortably dry - it worked just like a baby diaper which I am sure saved me from unnecessary chaffing and sores. So again, I have nothing but superlatives for your product (at least your bib which is all I've had the opportunity to test until now) and I must thank you for your essential contribution to making my journey as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Keep up the good work!

Shorts

I have used them for a couple of weeks now. So far I have really enjoy them. Until now I have always warn compression shorts instead of bibs so I can't compare them to other bibs. These are much more comfortable than the shorts I have been wearing and an overall better feel. They are expensive, but I would buy them again.

cargo shorts - M

Super comfortable. 3 rides of 4 hours, 2 x 3 hours; road and gravel; I'm just under 6" tall, 150 lbs and M fits very well. The chamois is a bit thin but ok for me -- others may find it too anemic. Teammates commented the backside (crack) is see thru in direct sunlight. Not that they were complaining.....
