5DS Total Performance & Wellness Core Mouthpiece

Jury’s out on this one. I’m not sure buying a one-size-fits-all jaw repositioning device off the internet is a great idea but I have bruxism and the specialist appliance my dentist is reccommending costs $3K… i found this one hard to customize (tried twice folllowing instructions exactly) and it didnt stop me from clenching overnight; I think it actually contributed to dry mouth by keeping my mouth propped open. 😕

I liked the feel of cushioning my bottom teeth and not grinding away hard microplastic every night. But, one, I have some bone growths around my lower teeth which im told is very commom, and the soft plastic mold doesnt wrap around it loosely enough, I am getting sore damaged skin where is it pushing againt it. Two, I dont like the feel of sleep with my mouth closed in a clamp position all night, and when my mouth is open the guard pushes it quite open and im getting a sore throat. Three, not noticed much change to my jaw and neck and shoulder tensions. I will try and get a refund.

Very useful, improved my jaw clenching quite a bit! Still managed to touch my front teeth together in my sleep, will get advice from my dentist in a few weeks!
