Half the Size & Half the Quality

I've been using full focus planners for years. I included a picture below of the original full focus planner along side the minimalist planner. It's about half the width, which is great if you work in more than one place like me. However, when I opened the package I was immediately disappointed in the quality of this planner. This planner is 76% of the cost of its original linen counter part which would be a fair price if there wasn't a stark difference in the quality of these planners. Both the back and front covers are flexible, thick pieces of paper - think paperback instead of hardback books. The coils of the planner are thin wire which were already showing signs of being bent out of shape when I removed it from the package. I bought this planner because it would more easily fit in my bag but the low quality of this product means that this planner will be looking very beat up after 3 months in my bag. I do appreciate that when they downsized they kept Saturday and Sunday as full pages. I am disappointed to see that they changed the weekly preview. It takes up the same number of pages so I don't know why they felt the need to change what I've always thought of as one of the foundational pieces of the planner. Maybe I'm just annoyed that this version of the weekly preview contains emojis. If you, like me, love your full focus planner but just want a more portable version of it - I'm afraid this doesn't quite hit the mark.

Good and bad.

This is my 3rd Full Focus planner. The Minimalist version appeals to me because I like having only one page per day. However, as a left-handed person I really dislike the spiral bound version. The perfect planner would be a combination of the regular planner and the Minimalist in my view.
