Love It

This matrix display is cool and does exactly what I hoped it would. The documentation was "okay" but could have need much better. Without too much technical skill, someone can get this working (with or without Home Assistant). Finding and resizing gif files does work but sometimes requires a reset (for me) to get them to display. Hopefully this is a temporary software issue in WLED. I was able to setup multiple WLED segments (display sections) and overlay the time and some Home Assistant data (temerature, humidity, notification / alert messages) on top of an animated WLED preset. Whenever I get a SMS message or alert (e.g poor air quality or low battery), The Time segment is hidden and two lines of text are displayed. Cool and useful.

Amazing Led Matrix!

Gave it to a friend had no idea it came pre loaded with a fork of wled with extra matrix effects. Really great attention to detail! Amazing vivid effects. I'm gonna need to get myself a few and rig them in series later. 10/10!

nice panel, but software confusing

the panel is amazing. 4000 leds! But the wled software was almost there, but I found it confusing. What got saved, how, and the yaml code to make it work with HomeAssistant was not trivial. I submitted some corrections to the documentation that I hope was updated bucause the documentation was incorrect. But in the end, I have a beautiful, colorful displaying 4 lines of text, all flowing at different speeds, giving the impression of multiple independent feeds.
