When it works as you intend, it works well. Otherwise it's a bit confusing about when the alarm light starts or ends in regard to your set alarm. Also it comes automatically in military time and you have to look up a work around that isn't in the instructions book. The sunset feature is also confusing. But, if you want something that doesn't require a phone and you can get through the setting up the programming you want, it's excellent.
