It’s pretty clear to me, as the guardian for two adventure cats, that this product was not tested with actual cats. Cats use a scratch pad to scratch. However, this scratch pad is very lightweight and is not affixed to the bed/filter in any fashion, so when they try to scratch on it, the pad just comes loose. It’s Impossible for them to actually scratch on the scratch pad! Ridiculous! Save yourself some money and buy a sissel mat from Ikea and tape it to the bed.
