Hammer pants
First, the good. It's lightweight, dries quickly, and seems rather durable. The jacket is fantastic.
Unfortunately, the bad: In order to get sleeves that are long enough, I needed to order the next size up from what I usually wear in the Champion III. This results in what can only be described as "parachute pants." I'm not talking the 1990s fashion choices, I'm talking I'm 95% sure I could actually jump out of an airplane and these pants would slow me down to the point that a parachute would not be needed. Hot water, high heat, and no shrinkage. So, that's good (and bad) all at the same time.
I think if you're just looking for a training uniform and do not need to wear this for a shiai, you're fine getting your regular size. If you want to wear this as a lighter alternative for a shiai, you'll need to order the next size up and alter the pants. A lot.

Was rather disappointed in the j690 quest. While it seems to be advertised as having the same fit as the champion, just without the label, the one we received actually fit much smaller than the champion. The sleeve length was about 4cm shorter and the pant length was around 3cm shorter. That is a considerable difference. Also, I reached out to the company about nine days ago and have not received a response. As such I am disappointed. That said, I can say the actual quality of the gi seems good as far as the construction goes, just the fit is much different, and it should be noted in the description.
