Over the past two years, I've been on a quest for a bass distortion that did NOT hinder/diminish my bass' awesome low end response, while still offering a variety of snarling, biting, and "wall of heavy" distortion sounds. THIS IS THE ONE. The blend control brings in ALL of my bass's low end, while still giving me a broad palette of USEFUL distortion sounds. Now that I understand the 2nd footswitch (thanks for the tips, Mr. Twilight!), I now have a couple of useful sounds at the ready.
