Expanding Miter Saw Table

I like the results. It is both functional and compact, just what I was after. However, I did make some changes, I had to substantially change the dimensions as my miter saw was different than the default. The tools provided to modify the plans weren’t very helpful as they didn’t allow me to make all the required changes. So I ended up recalculating those manually. Also, the open space underneath the saw I thought was a bit wasteful, so I incorporated a drawer, which I find handy to hold odds and ends such as the stop blocks. Lastly, I put a back on it to prevent sawdust from gathering in the drawer and remaining open space.

Just finishing up my bench. I haas to my platform are a lot wider to fit my saw which was over 39 inches. Everything has workout well. I didn’t give the 41 inches in the beginning, but after getting the caster on, seemed a little high. I will work with it, I Mary get used to it. I really like it very much and look forward to using it. I’m very satisfied with plans

The design of this miter saw table is useful and strong. The plans are clear and easy to follow. I will be buying the wood today and hope to start soon after.
