Great Game Classic Feel
Really enjoyed this game. The gameplay and exploration was satisfying. Plenty of exploration and quality platforming. Combat was enjoyable and writing was fun. Feels like a great portable Metroidvania. Art style fits the theme very well.

Solid Metroidvania - Standout Music
As a Metroidvania it’s good. Art style is unique. The story and characters are fun. But the soundtrack shines brightest in this game. Solid overall and would recommend.

Wicked awesome!
This is one of the best metroidvanias I’ve played in recent years. It’s certainly the best on the GBC; odd that Nintendo never made their own for colorized Gameboy. The gameplay is tight and the graphics are phenomenal, truly some of the best on the handheld. I can’t wait for developer LocusMotion’s next game.
