Luffy New World Jacket Pattern Cosplay Costume

A worthwhile challenge

It took my friend and I an adventurous evening of teamwork learning to resize this for a small tween boy and adjusting to the things we're used to having in standard commercial patterns, but this is definitely the best pattern we've found for this jacket and it takes a smart approach to pulling off this silhouette in probably the easiest way. Thank you so much for making this (and the super helpful video) available!

easy to follow and happy with results

I used this pattern to make a costume for my 10 year old, so I did have to size it down from the original pattern but it worked out fine. Easy to put together and the video on Youtube was very helpful. It took me about 8 hours or so to sew the whole thing with the pattern, and I'm sure it would have taken a lot longer and been much more frustrating if I had tried to do it without. Thanks Cosplay Yunkie!
