The black arent the buttery soft fabric that the dusty pink ones are. They are shinier and more nylon. This is in reply. No im sorry the fabrics are completely different, its not the dye. I have a pair of black pants the same as the pink and the fabric is the same as the pink buttery soft and doesnt have that underlying shiny fabric. They are a great fit and i have no other issues with them
