First pair of Sundaes and I'm in love!
This is my first pair of Sundaes, I got them on sale. I also have 2 pairs of happy shoes. I haven't had the chance to wear the sundaes out and about yet, but just from trying them on and walking around in the house, they are better than I could've imagined! On the website, with the way they describe them and warn about sizing up bc they're narrow, I was under the impression that they'd feel stiff and take some time to break in or something. But that's not the case at all-- imo they are even comfier than the happy shoes. The fabric is layered so they're more cushy, and they do have a thicker sole, but are still very flexible and not stiff at all. Like the happy shoes, it feels like I'm wrapping my feet in a quilt! And then there's the color, blue bubblegum, which looks just as good in person as in the pictures. As far as the shoes being narrow, that wasn't an issue for me, but I also have fairly narrow feet. I got my normal size, which is a size 40 or a US 9 (the same size I've gotten in happy shoes). If I went a size up, they for sure would have been too long for my feet, and that would've been worse to me than having them squeeze a little in the width. Besides, with the fabric construction, I can tell they'll stretch out over time anyway. But of course everyone has different preferences.
For some extra insight, my mom tried on my sundaes. She and I are normally about the same size in shoes, but her feet are a tad wider than mine, so when she put them on they did feel too narrow. She could still fit into them, but they were tighter than she preferred. Do with that what you will.
Overall, great quality, super cute, well worth the money to have some fun and unique shoes that I'm sure I'll get a lot of wear out of!❤️
