CWC Ti300 Titanium 5 Quartz Divers Watch

Want to love it but can't

Solid movement, Ti grade 5, integral lugs, nice lume, basically perfect quality... I have the CWC SBS and the Tudor Pelagos FXD, so the TI300 seemed to be the perfect combination of both but isnt. Why? 1. It is thicker than the SBS therefore especially the Dial also lays deeper and the watch it self doesnt seem as thin and sleek as the SBS anymore. 2. it wears really high... I dunno, but the geometry of the integrated lugs makes the watch wear higher than the bigger and thicker Pelagos and also higher than the SBS. The watch seems to hover to much imo and also tends to stuck on sleeves. Funnily, while it is lighter it wears more head orientated than the SBS. 3. less character than the SBS. This is pure subjective but the black on black has just more Character. The TI300 isnt a dress watch but also to shiny for tactical imo. 4. The Hands. The white hands on all black SBS give a nice contrast, here it doesnt work. Black framed hands or minimum the orange seconds tip from TGF version would help. 5. Price... around 1350€ plus import costs to EU... I appreciate CWC's quality & heritage but this is just to much for a Quartz In the end I didnt get warm with the ti300 and like my SBS more than before which is quite funny as the Ti300 was planned to replace it.
