Sleek and smart, comfortable and versatile - an everyday staple
Every time I buy something from you guys I'm blown away but this shirt is something else and on another level. I've only had it for a week but I'm already considering selling my other shirts and just buying every whipcord shirt colour you produce. The fit and cut is so smart. Most shirts look so bulky and unflattering on me but this thing genuinely makes me look better. The drape is unlike anything I've seen on a piece of clothing. I think you've nailed the silhouette. The fabric is thin, sleek and soft. I wore it into town today as a mid layer under my hooded jacket but can see this easily doubling up as a base layer or a single layer on it's own in the summer. I'll be getting a tailor to remove the labels (I don't want to make a mess of it) as I do on most of my garments - as this one's definitely a keeper! For the first time I sized down to a medium and I'm glad I did. A large would have been too big and medium is spot on. If you're considering buying this shirt - check the sizing chart before ordering! It takes 5 minutes to measure your clothes and once you have your measurements there can be no sizing error with all future clothing purchases. I agree with the other reviews/comments - I'd really love some trousers made out of this stuff. I think you could even make some really great T shirts out of this material as well. The only drawback I've found so far is that it's a bit of a lint magnet. This becomes very noticable on the black colour. I've found the best way to remove the lint and fluff is to damp your hands with water then run them downwards along the garment. This does a much better job than lint rolling and it's cost free and convenient. Whenever you wash your hands, just shake them a bit, then run them along the shirt. If you do this multiple times a day, it'll keep the lint off. I'm curious to know why you guys decided to omit having a gauntlet button. I prefer these on my shirts as they're convenient for moving the cuffs out of the way at work. Something I really like about this shirt is the wrinkle free nature of the fabric. I've had the sleeves rolled up every day this week and there's not a single crease in sight. I'm very much looking forward to wearing this every day! I can't wait to get more colours. Huge W for WW.

My new favorite shirt. Immediately bought a second!
Fabric feels fantastic. Really enjoy the 100% wool, with a nice smooth and soft feel to it. I got it in black and drab, and I now wear these nearly every week with a light wool undershirt. Buttoned or unbuttoned, looks fantastic, and real easy to roll up the sleeves. Probably my most versatile shirt, and I am very eager to see what the "whipcord basic" pattern is. If you ever make more colors, I'll happily buy.

Can’t believe this fabric is real. Touch of an itch at first, but better than all my non-superwashed merino sweaters. The drab colour is really nice. Great buttons and stitch quality is amzing. For size reference I’m 6’1, 220lbs, 34 inch waist, 33 inseam, 46 inch chest. The XL fits perfrectly in the shoulders and arms. It runs a little big in the belly area. If you’re taller or have a long torso you may find it a bit too short to tuck in as when I stretch my arms fully above my head the shirt becomes fully untucked. I had this shirt on bare with thin wool pants chipping the ice off my driveway while it was +5C (+41F) didn’t get hot or sweaty at all. Stood around for awhile after watching my kids play and didn’t get cold either. Really impressed.
