The Cretaceous Key

Didn't work out

I have a Schlage sc7 key. These are sc1 keys. Thinking that might not work, prior to ordering, I messaged the company and asked if I could use a sc1 key to duplicate a sc7 key. I even included a picture of my key to be certain there was no mistake or issue. They said yes. It's a match it should work, don't worry. So I ordered two and they really are very cool designs. Got my keys quickly and the packaging was really cool. When I went to the hardware store to cut them, the guy said they are two different keys and he can't use the ones I bought to duplicate my key. I emailed the company and they responded very quickly and helped me with the return process. My only issue is they charged me shipping to return the keys. I personally think that's unfair since I triple checked prior to even ordering that the keys would be okay. But otherwise love the idea and designs and if I knew for a fact it would be possible to duplicate a different set of keys, I might even buy from them again. X
