"Your Command" Shellback

Got initiated as a shellback crossing the equator on my first ship and first deployment and then was an observer of the initiation a number of years later on my last ship and last deployment.

Was stationed on the USS Midway in 1979 with VMFP-3 during the Iranian crisis and became a Shell back during that time...... Proud of that time.

I became a shellback November 1st 1975 in the Indian Ocean on the way to Iran. When I wore the shirt I got a lot of compliments. It fits great.
