New suits, new rash?

We used the 9 month suits without issue. For some reason, the new 12 month suits have caused my daughter to break out into a rash. Also, one of them left a scent on her which was strange.

Hand covers don't fit. The rest of the onesie I purchased fits good, but the hand covers are so small even a newborn hand wouldn't fit, and he is 9 months old. This resulted in his fingers poking holes in the fabric after only two wears.
