I have a bunch of surf hats and the board Sox cap seems legit. I intentionally took it in some bigger surf and it held up well. The brim wasn’t super annoying when duck diving. The neck flap is a good size. It’s not so big that it also becomes annoying. Also love the fact that it is permanently attached. I like that the hat doesn’t have a hole in the back of it. I have a shaved head so hate getting circle burns in the back of my head. Chin strap felt solid and the clasp is a good size to be able to do it up quickly. As for longevity, only time will tell. But I’m happy so far :)

Fits well after measuring me noggin - 59cm. Nice and light. Handles duck diving well. Nice to not get murdered by the sun. Would recommend. Way nicer to use than my Oneill bucket hat

Love this cap- I've worn a surf cap for years now and The Bolt stays on doesn't fall over my eyes, keeps the rain out of my face and dries quickly! The neck shade is great- doesn't get in the way & hopefully will ward off sun damage for a few more years- great hat!
