These are great to have when the airlines tear off your wheels. I now travel with a spare pair just in case.

I flew my two bikes (road & triathlon) to USAT Multisport Nationals a few weeks ago in my two Scicon bags. It is not fun traveling with two bikes. But I was only able to do it because of my Scicon bags. They are lightweight, roll easily, can be maneuvered around other flyers, carry everything I need to race, and provide the protection I've learned to trust. This wouldn't have been possible with two hard cases.
