My book arrived today and it was well worth the wait. I’m not from Louisiana, but my husband (deceased) was. He also grew up in the 7th ward (Annette St.) My daughter is going🥰 to enjoy this book, She loves cooking the old Creole way and can’t wait to try the CALAS. Keep cooking 🥰
P.S. In HS, she was friends with some Demasiliere (small world).

Love creole food. This was the perfect book for me and my family. It has such vibrant colored pictures, with great detail to follow. Our favorite so far is the red beans & rice.
